The Sovereign Housing Group was set up in April 2005 to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of service delivery to residents. Sovereign Housing Group Ltd is the parent organisation and provides strategic and corporate services to other members of the group. The main subsidiaries are Sovereign Housing Association, Twynham Housing Association and The Vale Housing Association, which own and manage more than 23,000 homes in the south of England. As of March 2008, the Group employed 153 staff directly, with a further 560 staff working for the subsidiaries.

Once the new structure had been established, it became apparent that the group needed to establish consistency and uniformity across its subsidiaries. Each subsidiary historically has its own documentation, policies and procedures and the group decided to implement a new intranet solution to provide document management capabilities and collaboration.

The partnership between The Sovereign Housing Group and ICS Solutions has been successful and the Sovereign Housing Group expects to go live at the beginning of 2009, with a ShareWorkz-based intranet solution that can expand to support its future growth.

Fire Service College had a large ser of process driven paper forms that required time and energy on behalf of the staff to complete, submit and manage. Their existing intranet was overly complex and could only be managed centrally by technically competent staff. The required was to provide a system that could be managed in a federated manner that could support the move to workflow based forms management. This was done using ShareWorkz.

Wessex Petroleum are in an industry that is increasingly coming under regulatory scrutiny. Coupled with the necessity for the business to generate a significant amount of paperwork in all aspects of its operation, a requirement was identified to implement a system that could enable a simple storage and rapid, intuitive retrieval of documentation for all parts of the business. ShareWorkz implementation integration to their CRM has assisted this.

Rothschild Private Equity manage the investment portfolios of many of the worlds leading ‘individuals of high net worth’. Regulatory, statutory and reporting requirements are extremely rigorous and therefore the portfolio management processes are document intensive. The requirement was to provide the staff managing the portfolio documentation a mechanism for storing this vast amount of unstructured information in a structured manner. This storage requirement is made more complex when looked at from a perspective of retrieval as the data had to be classified in such a way that it could be viewed in multiple ways. Implementing ShareWorkz solved these problems.
